All Service Agreements / Maintenance plans include 24 hour emergency service included on covered parts and 15% discount off regular rates for non-covered repair work

Exclusions from Coverage on all Contracts
1. Contract will not cover the expense of repairs or materials when required for any of the following:
Air Conditioning | All oil storage tanks and lines | Boiler or furnace | Combustion Chambers | Domestic Hot Water coils |
Domestic Hot Water tank | Frozen Pipes | Humidifiers | Pipes and Ducts | Stack Dampers | Shut off Valves | Thermostats |
Wiring | Zone Valve Bodies
2. Service calls resulting from thermostats being in the off position, main or emergency switches off and/or no oil (unless on auto delivery)
3. If you misused your heating system or have attempted repairs yourself or have hired outside help to attempt repairs
4. If you request us to arrive at vour residence after normal business hours (8am-4pm) for non-emergency services while your furnace or boiler is still operational and providing heat. (ie. noises, odors, leaks)
Terms and Conditions
1. Pre-inspection. We require your oil burner to be in satisfactory operating condition before coverage goes in effect. All heating equipment is subject to our inspection. Any repairs necessary to put the equipment into acceptable condition will be charged at prevailing rates.
Plugged units due to neglect or lack of annual cleaning will be charged at our prevailing hourly rate.
2. We will not extend coverage to any oil burner which Hurricane Energy, LLC does not deliver fuel oil. Contract is cancelled/forfeited upon delivery of fuel from any other source.
3. Annual maintenance of heating units will be done only during business hours and are the responsiblity of the homeowner to schedule the appointment with Hurricane Energy, LLC. There will be no carry over into the following year or credits issued for calls not performed.
4. Non-emergency calls will be performed during normal business hours.
Monday – Friday 8am-4pm / Saturday 8am-12pm (heating season only).
Non-emergency calls performed outside of normal business hours will be billed at prevailing rates. (No hot water, mild odors, noises, etc.)
5. We will replace, without charge, oil burner parts and controls that become defective through normal wear and are available from a local supply source. Defective, obsolete parts will be replaced with new equipment at list price.
Bronze Plan
The Economy Plan is designed to be an economical option that covers the basic oil burner components. Included in this option is a complete annual maintenance.- Vacuum and inspected heat exchanger and combustion chamber
- Replace nozzle, oil filter, and pump strainer
- Replacement of basic air filters
- Oil motors
- Inspection and adjustments of heating appliance
Silver plan
The warm air plan is designed to Cover most warm air furnace parts and goes beyond the coverage of the bronze plan. Included in this option is a complete annual maintenance.- Vacuum and inspected heat exchanger and combustion chamber
- Replace nozzle, oil filter, and pump strainer
- Replacement of basic air filters
- Oil motors
- Inspection and adjustments of heating appliance
Gold Plan
The hydronic/boiler plan is designed to cover most boiler parts and valves that are included in hot water heating systems. Included in this option is a complete annual maintenance.- Vacuum and inspected heat exchanger and combustion chamber
- Replace nozzle, oil filter, and pump strainer
- Replacement of basic air filters
- Oil motors
- Inspection and adjustments of heating appliance
- Check water pressure levels/purge zones if needed
Labor and parts covered under the Bronze economy plan:
Burner coupling, burner motor, Burner fan, last tube, cad cell, delayed oil valve, electrodes including porcelains and bus bars, fire valve, fuel pump(mini pumps only), pump strainers, nozzles, oil filter insert, oil filter bowl, ignition transformer.
Labor and parts covered under the Silver Warm air plan:
All parts included in the economy plan, blower motor parentheses 1/2 hp max parentheses, fan belt, fan center, fan control/ High limit, isolation relay, pulley
Labor and parts covered under the Gold hydronic/boiler plan:
All parts included in the economy plan, aquastat, backflow preventer, circulator (main zone only), extrol type expansion tank, gauge glass (steam boiler),hy-vent, mixing valve replacement element, pressure relief valve, water feeder, flow check, boiler drain, zone valve head main zone only, temp/pressure gauge.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Maintenance Plans are offered for periods of one year (12 months). This includes a full tune-up of your heating system and or hot water heater and 24/7 service.
Your Maintenance Contract must be paid in full before the contract can go into effect. In return you receive a substantial cost discount.
EVERY MAINTENANCE PLAN ALSO INCLUDES:
• 15% discount on parts and labor for repairs. Regular maintenance reduces the likelihood of breakdowns, but emergencies can happen. Should you need a repair, you save money. (Please note that we cannot apply this discount to the standard diagnostic fee.)
• No after hours surcharges for repairs. If you have an emergency after regular business hours, you get the added perk of regular business hour repair rates plus the 15% discount — even if it’s New Year’s Eve or Thanksgiving! (Please note that we cannot apply this discount to the standard diagnostic fee.)
• And best of all, you get free reminders! We call you when it is time to schedule your next service. One less thing to worry about.
